Members on Their Own means U3A members who are either single, widowed, divorced or separated.

What do we do - well socially we very much do what you would hopefully do with a partner.

We meet regularly at a local pub (for coffee) where we plan what we would like to do in the coming months. Plus, most weeks, members arrange to meet again for Coffee or afternoon tea. Members are expected to be involved by arranging an event from time to time. Our most popular get together is probably Sunday lunch and we try to host one each month in local venues.

We also go to the theatre, cinema, walks, picnics, gallery visits and much more. Our last big event was a post-Christmas lunch for 18 members and we plan another such lunch in the summer.
