Social history is often described as the history of the people, concentrating upon the social, economic and cultural institutions.

We offer a variety of diverse topics from different speakers over the course of the year.

Our meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday afternoon of the month from 2-4 pm. starting January to May then a summer break and recommencing again in September through to November. Our December meeting is traditionally our Xmas lunch celebration.

We are a sociable group and following the presentation, there is an opportunity to meet and chat over a cup of tea.
