Learn, Laugh, Live is the motto of the u3a, a national network first started in the UK in 1982. Join the nearly 400,000 members in 1035 u3as throughout the UK today.
Runnymede u3a was formed in 1998 and currently has over 300 members. Our members come from within and around Runnymede borough which includes the bustling towns and pretty villages of Addlestone, Chertsey, Egham, Egham Hythe, Englefield Green, Lyne, New Haw, Ottershaw, Row Town, Thorpe, Woodham and Virginia Water.
We welcome all retired or semi-retired people from all walks of life who would like to join us. All of us have a variety of talents and interests built up over the years and the u3a is a great place to share those experiences, develop new friendships and try something new. You may also be able to help other members in doing the same
Have you retired from full-time employment? Are you looking to develop new interests, extend your social life, and enjoy life? We run classes and activities led and taught by our members, for our members. We are a non-profit making, charitable, self-help organisation.

Do come to one of our monthly Members Meetings, usually held on the first Thursday of the month at the The Chertsey Hall in Chertsey, starting with a talk at 2pm which is followed by refreshments and an opportunity to update news and chat to friends. You will be most welcome!

How can you become a Member?
Our annual membership fee is just £15.00.
If you wish to apply for membership you can find an application form here in PDF or Word format. When you use the PDF version, use the Complete and Sign option in Adobe Acrobat to complete the form online. A digital signature is acceptable. Note that you may need to download the file and then open it with Acrobat. Link to Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download).
The membership fee entitles you to attend as many Group activities as you wish provided there's room (check the Groups page to ensure the group is accepting new members). Please register with the group leader by using the email link (or by telephone if you have the Yellow Sheet), if you wish to join a group or be added to the waitlist.
Please do not attend a group meeting before contacting the group leader, as you may be turned away.
