Welcome

Runnymede u3a was formed in 1998 and currently has over 300 members. Our members come from within and around Runnymede borough which includes the bustling towns and pretty villages of Addlestone, Chertsey, Egham, Egham Hythe, Englefield Green, Lyne, New Haw, Ottershaw, Row Town, Thorpe, Woodham and Virginia Water.

  • A programme of daytime educational, creative and leisure activities in a friendly, informal atmosphere.
  • A wide range of interest groups run by our members
  • Monthly meetings with visiting speakers
  • Social events

Do come to one of our monthly Members Meetings, usually held on the first Thursday of the month at the Tulk Room in the Addlestone Community Centre, starting with a talk at 2pm which is followed by refreshments and an opportunity to update news and chat to friends. You will be most welcome!

Our annual membership fee is just £15.00.

The membership fee entitles you to attend as many Group activities as you wish provided there's room (check the Groups page to ensure the group is accepting new members). Please register with the group leader by using the email link (or by telephone if you have the Yellow Sheet), if you wish to join a group or be added to the waitlist.

Black Cherry Fair- a note from Lawrence

I would like to thank you all for helping to promote Runnymede u3a and erecting and dismantling the gazebo on the day.

From what I can gather from people who were there, the day was a great success where we talked to people about our u3a and the majority were interested to come to our Enrolment Day on the 7th August.

Let's see how well we did on Enrolment Day.
