Bird-watching Group
Skill levels range from novice to regular active birder and we work as a group to find and identify birds. Again we have been fortunate to have been joined by some members of the NW Surrey RSPB group with their telescopes, good spotting skills, and good ability to identify birds by song too, which has added to our enjoyment.
We have been able to visit two different sites accompanied by wardens – Bedfont Lakes and Kempton Reserve as well as our favourite sites such as Thames Moor and Papercourt Meadows. Sadly this has proved to be rather a wet year so some visits have been rescheduled
I would like to thank Gaynor and Diane for helping me with arranging and leading some of our visits this year because of my hip operation.
As of 12th July 2024 we are still able to offer places for new members.
Covid precautions
Please do not come on a walk if you are unwell with symptoms that could be Covid-19. If unsure, please take a test and only come if the result comes back as negative for Covid.
